Lindsey Vonn, an American skier who was born on 18 October, 1984 won the gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics in the downhill ski race. Vonn is ranked second worldwide for the highest scores for male and female skiers. She's one of the most famous and most adored skiers in the history of skiing. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She has won all-around World Cup competition four times. She is one of the most well-known athletes in American history. She's among only six women who have won all five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. She has taken home an impressive 82 World Cup titles in all. She is among the top skiers around the globe and the most profitable American ski racers have decided to retire following the World Championship which will take place in Sweden. Four-time World Cup winner decided to leave the sport after battling several ailments. The announcement of her retirement came through social media.
